The Coordinator of Admissions and Student Affairs will coordinate the administration of the admissions and student affairs functions of the School of Medicine (MUSM), Savannah Campus. This coordinator will plan orientations, honors ceremony, hooding ceremony, and other Admissions and/or Student Affairs events. The coordinator will collect and maintain admissions data and compile and upload data for Medical Student Performance Evaluations (MSPEs) and Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS) application materials for Savannah-Campus students. He/she will also work closely with the enrollment specialists and student affairs specialists on the other MUSM campuses.


A high school diploma or GED is required, along with three years of administrative support experience, to include activity/event planning experience. A bachelor’s degree is highly desirable. The successful candidate must have strong computer skills, including the ability to learn computer-based and web-based applications required for data collection and management, document preparation and formatting, and uploading of student information. The incumbent must also have excellent communication skills to be able to interact professionally with applicants, students, faculty, and staff and have excellent organizational skills to be able to manage multiple projects. Must be able to maintain confidentiality as this position will be dealing with sensitive information.
